BLOOMINGTON, IN – Those out for a Sunday morning campus stroll discovered a disturbing scene of lawns littered with seemingly lifeless bodies.

Fraternity row at Indiana University mostly exists on East 3rd Street where the houses are fronted by large yards extending to out to the sidewalk.

“It really is a nice street to walk or bike and take in the beauty of campus, especially in the Fall,” said Bloomingtonian Betty Calhoun. “I just recommend you stay away until the afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays.”

Neighbors are becoming more and more frustrated with the appearance of the area as hundreds of partygoers riddle the yards and sidewalks in front of the frat houses.

“It’s just a regular thing now,” said 3rd Street neighbor Jimmy Vaughn. “I swear it’s gotten so bad that many of us just assume they’ve all drank a toxic concoction at the direction of a charismatic cult leader.”

Bloomington and IU Police have thus far been hands off.

“Hey, if they’re sleeping one off on private property, we’re staying out of it,” said BPD Captain Justin Terry. “Let’s get real, we’ve all been there.”
