BLOOMINGTON, IN – An IU student who had been reported missing and was last seen at a Kirkwood haunt known for a boozy blue cocktail has been found.
Hannah Jones was enjoying a night out at The Upstairs Pub before her friends noticed she was not at their apartment the next morning.
“This is not like Hannah at all,” said roommate Tara Barnes. “I know she recently broke up with her boyfriend and was probably having more than normal.”
The Upstairs Pub is famous for its aptly named drink, the AMF. Short for ‘Adios Motherfu**er,’ the blue beverage is made up of nine different types of alcohol.
Barnes has the last known picture taken of Jones. She is seen playfully sipping an AMF, which was apparently one of many.
Thankfully, IU Campus Police found Ms. Jones on the 50 yard line at Memorial Stadium.
“The AMF is the Yin and Yang,” said Upstairs bartender Marty Johnson. “Those who drink them either have the best time of their lives or the worst. There’s no in between.”
Bloomington Police had allocated all available resources to the search. Thankfully, another cautionary AMF tale has a happy ending.
