BLOOMINGTON, IN – A ruling has been issued by College Mall officials admonishing behavior from a serial complainer and levying substantial penalties.
Simon Mall administrators voted to hold Jennifer Baker in contempt of the food court after several dramatic outbursts left mall patrons and staff shocked and uneasy.
“Ms. Baker has become an intolerable nuisance,” said mall official Harry Jones. “Because shoppers have complained on numerous occasions, we had no choice but to ban her from College Mall grounds indefinitely.”
Baker is widely known for berating food court employees, alleging her food to be too cold or being served the wrong dipping sauces.
On one occasion, Ms. Baker reached across the counter at Fuji Sushi and slapped an employee in the face for refusing service based on obvious inebriation.
“I could not believe she actually hit me,” said cashier Ho Kim. “The lady was wasted, she could hardly stand let alone eat teriyaki chicken with rice and an egg roll.”
The ruling of contempt means Baker cannot be within 500 feet of College Mall property. In the event “Karen” does attempt to enter the mall, officials are fully prepared to press charges for trespass.
